The BC Kiwanis Pumpkin Run 5K Run/Walk comes to the Vestal Coal House on Saturday, October 12, 11:00am. Proceeds benefit BC Kiwanis. This is certified course on the Rail Trail with official results. Pumpkins and medals will be awarded to overall and age group winners. Prizes for best pumpkin costumes. There will be a Pumpkin decorating contest - Paint, carve, or decorate a pumpkin and bring it to the race—there will be a display table. Special prizes for most creative, best carved, best decorated, and best overall pumpkins. Stick around for post race kids run, live music, cider and doughnuts.
